Licensing is based on number of Microsoft365 users and the required storage capacity. 1. Select the number of users, either Economy or Foundation and add to the cart. 2. Select storage required in 100GB or 1TB increments and add to the cart.
CloudProtect is a fully managed scalable backup and recovery solution based on Commvault software for Microsoft365 that provides full data protection securely in the cloud.
Licensed per user with storage costs based on the amount of back-end data stored after deduplication and compression.
License options include:
- Economy - Exchange protection only.
- Foundation – Exchange Online, One Drive and SharePoint protection. *
No additional cost for cloud infrastructure and data ingress and egress costs.
Storage consumption is measured in 100GB and 1TB increments for back-end data.
*The Foundation license also provides options to protect other SaaS workloads such as Google Drive and Salesforce.
Shared Responsibility – Most public Cloud provers will ensure that your SaaS applications are available and accessible, but the protection of the data is still your responsibility. CloudProtect ensures that your SaaS data is adequately protected.
The offer - CloudProtect is a fully managed backup and recovery service. Powered by Commvault, a leader in enterprise data management solutions. This is a subscription service with no upfront investment required.
Data encryption – Industry standard encryption methods are used to encrypt data during transfer and at rest. Thus, ensuring that your data is protected from ransomware and other malware attacks.
Training – This is a fully managed service, and no technical training is required to operate the system. With an easy to use web interface our engineers will provide knowledge transfer on administrative functions if required.
Reporting and alerting - Enterprise reporting and subscription-based alerting is part of the package to ensure that you always know that your data is properly protected. Detailed monthly usage reports are provided.
Data Retention – You decide on the retention of your SaaS data. We recommend that you keep your data for at least a year. Contact us if you need assistance with storage sizing.
Helpdesk and Support - Local Helpdesk is available for support and troubleshooting. We endeavour to answer any queries within 4 hours during business hours and resolve it within 24 hours. Specific SLA’s can be provided on a case by case basis.
